Dr. Timothy E. Kremchek M.D.

Since 1994, Dr. Timothy E. Kremchek has followed in his father’s footsteps at Moeller as the school’s orthopaedist. Dr. Edward Kremchek, a pioneer in sports medicine in the Cincinnati area, set the standard of care amongst the student-athletes of Moeller, by serving as the school’s Team Physician beginning in 1978.
Dr. Kremchek serves as the Cincinnati Reds Medical Director and Chief Orthopaedic Physician. A Cincinnati native, Dr. Kremchek is a 1986 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Tufts University in Boston Mass. In 1993, he completed a one-year Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Alabama Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham Alabama, under the direction of Dr. James Andrews and Dr. Lawrence Lemak.
Dr. Kremchek also serves as orthopaedist at Wittenberg University where he earned his BA in 1981.
He is also the Team Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Cincinnati Kings Professional Soccer team, Orthopaedic Consultant for the Washington Nationals Baseball Club (MLB), and the Florence Freedom Baseball Club.
Dr. Kremchek’s professional interests range from advanced arthroscopic repair of the shoulder and knee, to total joint reconstruction and replacements. He has taken an active role in teaching orthopaedics and sports medicine, which has enabled him to be published in many professional journals. He has also been featured on a wide variety of media outlets regarding numerous medical / health topics.
